LENA MANTA was born in Istanbul but came to Greece at a young age. She studied as a kindergarten without ever wanting to practice this profession. For three years she had her own puppet theater troupe, with plays of her own writing. She has published articles in local newspapers and for two years was the program director of a radio station in the northern suburbs. She is married, has two children and lives permanently in
Kapandriti. He was awarded “Writer of the Year” in 2009 and 2011 by Life & Style magazine. In 2016 she was awarded the Audience Award of PUBLIC bookstores, in the category “HeroInspiration”, for her novel A SORRY FOR THE END. Her books have been translated into English, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, Albanian, Serbian and Bulgarian, and have sold a total of more than 2.3 million copies. Eighteen of her novels have been published by PSYCHOGIOS Publications, as well as two collections of short stories.
